*moment of silence* WHAT THE HELL DAY IS IT?
Okay. So now I will give you the brief rundown of WHAT WENT DOWN. Sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday I will have a lot of pictures freshly edited to be awesome and I will post those and stuff. But here's the haps:

Day One (Wednesday):
Get to New York. Take Taxi to hotel. Go to Eamonn's Pub, and had delicious food. I had a steak panini, which (blessedly) came without cheese, and therefore without much intestinal trouble. Had a Cosmopolitan (which shocked mom that I had never had one, lulz). Went to hotel lounge, had more drinks, went to bed.

Day Two (Thursday):
Woke up. Took scenic route to Rockefeller Plaza (which was me getting us lost, but including Times Square, Grand Central Station, and St. Patrick's Cathedral). Went to Nintendo World Store, bought a Zelda shirt. Went to NBC Studio, bought a Heroes shirt (like, duh). Went to Rachel Ray show. The guests were Sarah Chaulk(sp?) and Oprah's Interior Designer, whose name eludes me. Rachel Ray was a little star struck with herself, but it was a fun show. Went to Times Square, ate at Mars 2112 (best Hayley forces her mom to go to a silly restaurant excursion evar). I had pork chops. But they were called "INTERGALACTIC SPACEY PORKCHOPS," or something. Also had first Mudslide. Didn't know that they had come up with a cocktail that involves the three best alcohols in the world, but they did it.

Day Two contd:
Went to TKTS Outlet. Bought two tickets to first Broadway show: Equus. I'm not sure if I can even begin to provide words to describe it. It was beautiful. Epic. Heartbreaking. But really, I don't know, true. I read it in high school, but nothing compares to seeing it performed. I wept a little bit at the honesty of the end ("I can make you better, I can take away this god that you have found in Equus, but you will never feel passion so strong ever again, in your entire life.") And, to answer the question in everyone's mind: Yes, I saw it, and it was uncircumcised. Afterwards, we went outside to try and get them to sign a poster I bought. Couldn't get to the front of the crowd in time for Radcliff, but Griffiths was very cordial, and signed my poster. Afterwards went to Sardi's for dessert and drinks. Had another mudslide.

Day Three (Friday):
Started out with Good Morning America at the crack of dawn. It was fun, lots of standing around, but the hosts were fantastically gracious. Had turkey chili prepared by a new up-and-coming tv chef, it was quite tasty. Ate breakfast, went back to hotel and napped. Woke up, went to Time Square and went on double decker bus tour. Went to top of Empire State Building. Rode bus back to Time Square just in time to pick up tickets to Gypsy. It was amazing. People have said that Patti LuPone is a bit of a diva, I say that she had utterly earned it. She blew my mind! Beautiful, and a range that was made to sing Sondheim. Had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.

Day Four (Saturday):
Slept in a little, Evan and Annie Megan arrived at the hotel the night before. Went on a boat tour that went by Ellis Island, took lots of pictures. Rode Subway to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Liked the Egyptian side, lots of corpses. A really neat Dotaku that was quite large, and good Jomon art. Bought a print of "Cat Watches Spider." Rode taxi back to hotel, ate dinner "Cinema."

Day Five (Sunday):
Woke up, ate breakfast at a street faire (good god yes Falafel). Went to MOMA. Moaned about how much disdain I have managed to work up on the trip towards contemporary artwork. Was bored most of the time. Irritated about seeing two art museums, and not seeing the Museum of Natural History, which houses A COELACANTH (nobody will ever understand how much that damn fish means to me). But, got to see Persistence of Memory (which is remarkably small, Salvador Dali's 'Crucifixion' was at the Met, and it was huge, but PofM was only about a foot wide). Finally left, walked around a bit, grabbed taxi to airport.

So. I survived. A lot more of that will make sense when I have pictures, and when I'm not so sleep deprived. I now go to sleep, tomorrow I have a test out at Lane, and then I finally get to go to my house.

Dammit! I didn't realize you were back already, otherwise I would have tried to get in contact with you! I thought you were still in Vegas. *pouts*

It was fun though. I can't wait to go back, I am determined now to go to the Natural History Museum, lulz.

Good times were had.

I will! It will probably be awhile, though, because I plan on making a semi-large trip to SanFran next year. ^_^
